About Me
Junior Cybersecurity Analyst (ISC2 CC) with hands-on SOC labs, SIEM fundamentals, and a strong focus on threat detection, incident response, and security operations.
Hello — I'm Remy A. AGBOKPE
I am an aspiring Cybersecurity Analyst transitioning into a SOC Analyst (Tier 1) role, with a strong foundation in security operations, log analysis, and incident handling. My journey into cybersecurity is driven by a long-standing passion for technology and problem-solving.
With a Bachelor’s degree in English and professional experience in customer support, I bring clear communication, analytical thinking, and discipline to security operations. As an ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) professional, I am grounded in security principles, ethics, and risk-based thinking essential for modern SOC environments.
Through intensive training at the Metana Cybersecurity Bootcamp and continuous hands-on labs, I have developed practical skills in SIEM fundamentals, alert triage, log analysis, and incident escalation. I actively work with platforms such as TryHackMe to simulate real-world attacks and defensive scenarios.
In parallel, I have a solid background in web application development using React, Django, and Python. This technical depth strengthens my understanding of application security, secure coding practices, and vulnerability exploitation and mitigation, allowing me to approach security from both defensive and development perspectives.
